Yixing Clay
We brew in seasoned clay pots, one for every family of leaf.
At the counter we brew gongfu-style: a small clay pot, a generous spoon of leaf, and short, repeated steeps. The first cup wakes the leaf; the third or fourth is often the best. A pot serves one or two, and the hot water keeps coming — stay as long as the leaf has something to say.
New to loose-leaf? Order a Teahouse Flight and our tea master will pour you three small cups to find your footing — $14.
Teas are priced by the pot with refills included unless noted. Ask what’s fresh — our shelf rotates with the seasons.
